ADHD Coaching

ADHD is more than a diagnosis—it shapes how your brain manages attention, motivation, planning, emotional regulation, and other executive functions. Many people with ADHD are creative, insightful, and capable, yet still struggle to consistently follow through on everyday responsibilities.

ADHD coaching at Lucid helps you better understand how your brain works, recognize your strengths, and build practical strategies around your needs. Together, we’ll draw on your interests, values, and sense of purpose to clear away limiting beliefs, move toward your goals, and create success that feels both meaningful and sustainable.

How Coaching Supports You

Struggling with procrastination, overwhelm, disorganization, or losing focus? ADHD coaching helps you understand what’s getting in the way and build practical strategies that work with your brain—not against it.

Together, we can strengthen your ability to:

  • Get started and follow through on tasks and responsibilities
  • Plan, prioritize, and manage your time more effectively
  • Organize schedules, spaces, and materials in ways you can maintain
  • Stay focused and hold information in mind while working toward a goal
  • Monitor your progress and adjust when something isn’t working
  • Shift between tasks and respond more flexibly to change
  • Manage emotions and impulses with greater awareness and control

The goal isn’t perfection. It’s greater clarity, confidence, and consistency in the areas of life that matter most to you.

FAQs

Please reach me at cole@lucidts.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

ADHD coaching is a collaborative, action-oriented process designed to help you bridge the gap between knowing what to do and actually doing it.

Unlike therapy, which often focuses on healing past experiences or treating mental health concerns, coaching is centered on building skills, creating structure, increasing accountability, and helping you achieve your personal, academic, or professional goals.

Many clients benefit from combining therapy and coaching to address both the emotional and practical sides of ADHD.

I work with:

  • High school students learning organization and study skills
  • College students navigating increased academic demands
  • Young adults struggling with executive functioning
  • Adults balancing careers, relationships, and family life
  • Parents looking for guidance on supporting a child with ADHD

Whether you’ve been recently diagnosed or have lived with ADHD for years, coaching can help you better understand how your brain works and create systems that fit your life.

Every coaching plan is individualized, but common areas of focus include: Time management, Organization, Planning and prioritizing, Executive functioning skills, Task initiation, Reducing procrastination, Emotional regulation, Goal setting, Building routines, Accountability, School performance, College success, Workplace productivity, Communication, Confidence and self-esteem

Our sessions emphasize practical strategies you can begin using immediately while building habits that become sustainable over time.

Therapy focuses on treating mental health concerns and processing emotional experiences. ADHD coaching focuses on developing practical skills, improving executive functioning, increasing accountability, and helping you achieve specific goals. Many people benefit from doing both.

Not necessarily. Some clients have a formal diagnosis, while others are exploring whether ADHD may be contributing to their challenges. Coaching can still help you improve organization, planning, and executive functioning regardless of where you are in that process.

Absolutely. ADHD affects the entire family system. Parent coaching can help caregivers better understand ADHD, reduce conflict, improve communication, and support their child’s growing independence.

Short answer is no - however I do offer a sliding scale to those who qualify.
