Every parent wants what’s best for their child. But when your home begins to feel like a constant cycle of arguments, power struggles, emotional outbursts, or worry, it’s easy to wonder what you’re missing.
The truth is, parenting has become increasingly complex. Whether you’re navigating ADHD, anxiety, behavioral concerns, school challenges, technology, substance use, or the everyday stress of raising children, you don’t have to carry that burden by yourself.
At Lucid Therapeutic Services, I partner with parents to build practical skills, strengthen relationships, and create a calmer, more connected home. My goal isn’t to help you become a “perfect” parent—it’s to help you become a more confident one.
As a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor, Certified Parent Coach through the Jai Institute for Parenting, and an ADHD coach in training through ADDCA, I bring together evidence-based parenting strategies with an understanding of attachment, emotional regulation, executive functioning, and family systems. I believe behavior is communication.
Instead of asking, “How do I stop this behavior?” we’ll explore questions like:
Together, we’ll help you move from surviving difficult moments to leading your family with greater confidence, calm, and connection.
You don’t need to wait until things become a crisis to seek support.
Please reach us at cole@lucidts.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.
Parent coaching is a collaborative, goal-focused process that equips parents with practical tools to better understand their child’s behavior and respond in ways that promote growth, connection, and healthy boundaries.
Unlike traditional therapy, parent coaching focuses on what’s happening today and provides strategies you can begin using immediately. Together, we’ll identify what’s getting in the way, develop a clear plan, and build the confidence to navigate difficult situations with greater consistency.
Small changes in the way parents respond often create meaningful changes throughout the entire family system.
Every family is different, but coaching often includes:
My goal is to help you leave every session with practical strategies you can implement right away.
Not necessarily. Parent coaching often begins with parents only. In many cases, changes in the parent’s approach lead to significant improvements in the child’s behavior and the overall family dynamic. If it would be helpful, we can discuss involving your child or transitioning into family therapy.
Not at all. Parents of adolescents, college students, and young adults often benefit from coaching as they navigate increasing independence, changing family roles, and new challenges.
Absolutely. Many families benefit from a combination of parent coaching, individual counseling, family therapy, or ADHD coaching. We’ll determine the approach that best fits your family’s needs and goals.
Short answer is no - however I do offer a sliding scale to those who qualify. I also send a Superbill at the end of each month that you can submit to your insurance carrier for reimbursement.
Asking for support isn’t a sign that you’re failing—it’s a sign that you’re invested in your child’s future.
Whether you’re facing daily challenges or simply want to strengthen your relationship with your child, parent coaching can provide the tools, guidance, and confidence to help your family thrive.
Schedule a consultation today and let’s work together to build a healthier, more connected family.
